Shannon considers reconnecting with her birth mother, then brings Joy along for a meeting with a potential donor. Kristian helps Paul connect with a childhood hero.

Shannon makes an appointment with Kristian's therapist. Lara advises Joy to keep her emotions in check at work, and Nikki begrudgingly lets Peggy assist with dog grooming.

Shannon and Joy co-host a reality TV finale party. Nikki hates on Paul's new partner, and Kristian and Liam help Lara weigh the pros and cons of dating Ravi.

Shannon discovers something unexpected when she directs Travis in a video for the shelter's Gran-Paws program. Liam and Nikki convince Paul to chase his dream, while Joy keeps a secret from Lara.
