Sydney Sweeney

In this Sunday Sitdown lookback, actor Sydney Sweeney joins Willie Geist to talk about her rise to fame on the two massively popular series "Euphoria" and "White Lotus," her film "Reality" and her passion for restoring vintage cars. Firefighters are battling the largest wildfire in state history as strong winds and low humidity all fuel the Smokehouse Creek Fire that has killed at least two people and burned more than 1,700 square miles. The Israeli military says the civilians killed near an aid convoy in Gaza last week were trampled and that Israeli troops did not carry out a strike. This contradicts the accounts of eyewitnesses and doctors who say many people were shot. LeBron James, 39, has become the first player in NBA history to reach 40,000 career regular-season points. Iowa's Caitlin Clark could become the greatest scorer, man or woman, in Division I college basketball history as she plays in her final home game. The current record holder is basketball legend Pete Maravich. NBC's Jesse Kirsch reports for Sunday TODAY.
