At the dawn of a new gator season, a devastating onslaught of storms and hurricanes threatens the fate of swampers' livelihoods. As dark clouds roll in, Troy unleashes his armada of boats, launching a full assault on the bayou, as he institutes an ambitious quota for day one. Ronnie and Timmy risk a perilous trip outside the Locks, racing against the rising sea levels. Jacob puts his new partner Little Willie to the ultimate test, while Joey takes a gamble on training his daughter to be his new deckhand to carry on the family legacy. Meanwhile, Don Brewer faces the pressure of captaining his own boat under the weight of Troy's lofty expectations, with a greenhorn by his side.

With Hurricane Francine barreling toward Louisiana, swampers rush to stack their boats before the storm's landfall. Troy and Pickle head to Lake Fausse Pointe, where they hope to fill the boat in this under fished area. Ronnie is forced to hunt solo after Timmy becomes ill. Joey teaches his daughter Kallie the intricacies of open-water hunting. Bruce and Anna battle a cannibal that's invaded their honeyhole.
