Sorry for Your Loss
Rhiannon has spent her life being a quiet wallflower – a literal doormat for everyone around her, taking comfort in a secret kill list she tots up in her head.
Living as the dormouse receptionist at the local paper, she spends her days without friends, and looking after her sick father, hoping one day to get her break to be a local journalist.
But then newcomer AJ comes in and takes the job, and she's seething – but he seems taken with her.
After years of being tightly wound, a family tragedy sets off a chain of events that pushes her to her breaking point. Not least when her high school bully Julia returns to town with a high-flying job and hunky fiancé, Marcus, yet for some reason still seems intent on ruining her life.
Her sister proves little help either, in fact adding fuel to the fire.
When she's crossed one too many times, Rhiannon finally takes her father's advice and stands her ground – with horrific consequences.
This Sort of Thing Needs Some Feminine Energy
After the events of the night before, Rhiannon has to think fast on her feet.
When a dead body is discovered in the river, Rhiannon takes the opportunity to get ahead at work with the help of newcomer AJ – and to discover if the murder victim was a good person or not.
Meanwhile, Julia makes a stop by her house as her sister starts the process of selling up, and former fling Craig tries to make the most of a business opportunity.
As the police start investigating the murder, Rhiannon sets her sights on a new victim.
Black Spots in the Garage
Fresh from the adrenaline of another kill, Rhiannon gets to work putting together her biggest plan yet – with her most deserving target.
On top of that, Craig finally seems to be noticing her again after that one time they had sex.
However, her workplace is ready to bring her back down to Earth with a thud, and Julia is seemingly present wherever she goes.
After Julia steps foot into her life just that bit too far, Rhiannon feels forced into action, and makes a rash decision.
Everybody Loves Julia
Rhiannon shocks even herself when she struggles to go through with her latest plan - so has to take control back in other ways.
But as Rhiannon's confidence at work continues to soar, junior detective Marina makes a break in the case.
Elsewhere, Rhiannon's "investigative journalism" leads her to the front door of Marcus, Julia's fiancé.
What she discovers as a result has a surprising effect.
Someone's Been a Naughty Girl
As Rhiannon finds herself bonding with a former foe, trouble is rising at work in the form of long-time senior reporter, Jeff.
Marina uses a vigil to get to know more about Rhiannon, while AJ finds himself dealing with Rhiannon's anger when things spin out of control.
As Rhiannon struggles to keep a lid on things, someone discovers her secret – and it ends in tragedy.
With the net closing in on her, Rhiannon is forced to become allies with someone she never expected – Julie.
Life 2.0
As Julia and Rhiannon are hauled in for questioning, their newfound friendship is put to the ultimate test.
Marina becomes more determined than ever to prove Rhiannon's true nature, resorting to drastic measures in order to get results.
As Rhiannon comes to realise what it is she actually wants out of life, Julia begins to fear she's jumping from one toxic relationship to the next – and decides to change her trajectory.
One decision reveals someone's true motives.
Just when everything seems to be working itself out for the best, a last minute discovery leads to a devastating tragedy for Rhiannon.
