The Evidence - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Pilot
Inspectors Bishop and Cole uncover disparate pieces of evidence -- a flowering hydrangea plant, a severed human finger with attached compass ring, a cellular phone, a gold locket and the victim's body -- they attempt to solve the homicide of a beautiful young pharmacist. Meanwhile, Cole continues to struggle with the memories and grief of his own wife's unsolved murder.
As Inspectors Bishop and Cole unravel the mysteries set before them, and Dr. Sol Goldman lends his scientific expertise, they discover the evidence presented at the beginning, and will find that the crime, like the evidence itself, is never what it seems. The weekly mystery also follows the close ties of Cole and Bishop, friends for so many years and with so much depth, history and humor that they act like an old married couple.

Five Little Indians

Wine and Die
Cole and Bishop investigate the murder of a man who was killed while stealing a bottle of wine from a restaurant wine cellar vault. Meanwhile, both Bishop and Cole consider their dating prospects at work.

Stringers
When a paramedic is killed while accompanying her journalist boyfriend to a robbery in progress, Bishop and Cole trace the crimes to a suspect with a very personal vendetta. Meanwhile, Cole has some secret plans in store for Bishop's "non"-birthday.

And the Envelope Please
When a nightclub DJ is brutally murdered, evidence leads to a misunderstanding that uncovers yet another equally gruesome attempted homicide. Meanwhile, Bishop feels obligated to help his brother -- recently released from prison -- find a job, and Cole looks deeper into the mystery of his own wife's murder.

R.J. Decker
R.J. Decker centers on the eponymous R.J. Decker, a disgraced newspaper photographer and ex-con who starts over as a private investigator in the colorful-if-crime-filled world of South Florida, tackling cases that range from slightly odd to outright bizarre with the help of his journalist ex, her police detective wife, and a shadowy new benefactor, a woman from his past who could be his greatest ally... or his one-way ticket back to prison.

Abbott Elementary
In this workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal — are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don't love the school district's less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.

Dept. Q
DCI Carl Morck is a brilliant cop but a terrible colleague. His razor-sharp sarcasm has made him no friends in Edinburgh police. After a shooting that leaves a young PC dead, and his partner paralysed, he finds himself exiled to the basement and the sole member of Department Q; a newly formed cold case unit. The department is a PR stunt, there to distract the public from the failures of an under-resourced, failing police force that is glad to see the back of him. But more by accident than design, Carl starts to build a gang of waifs and strays who have everything to prove. So, when the stone-cold trail of a prominent civil servant who disappeared several years ago starts to heat up, Carl is back doing what he does best - rattling cages and refusing to take no for an answer.
