Sheepdogs
Today, sheepdog trainers and farmers James Read from Lincolnshire and Cheshire-based James Gilman will compete alongside man's best friend in the Sheep Dog Trials at The Hope Agricultural Show in the Peak District.

Poultry
Today the Rev. Daniel Reed from Cornwall shows his prize-winning ducks, while Gabbie Franklin from Herefordshire exhibits her chickens in the competitive poultry classes at the Pembrokeshire County Show in Wales.

Honey and Veg
Today, two Produce Farmers hope to sell out at London's oldest Farmers Market, in Islington.
They are Nigel Dyer, fruit and veg grower from Cambridgeshire, and London bee keeper Curtis Thompson, selling raw honey.

Killin
Today it's a battle of the clans at Killin Agricultural Show in Scotland, as local farmers Neil and Eilihd Campbell face Willie and Sandra Taylor in the competitive cattle classes.

Edenbridge Pigs
Today pig farmers Debbie Dallaway from Hawkhurst in Kent, and Sussex-based mother-son duo Michaela and Oliver, hope their best pedigree pigs can earn them a flurry of red rosettes at the Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show in Surrey.

Goats
Today at the Cotswold's Moreton-in-Marsh Show, competitive Oxfordshire-based breeder Betty Judge shows 21 of her cherished Pygmy goats while 20 year-old Laura Ketley from Warwickshire exhibits her best dairy Toggenburg goats, both with big hopes of winning.

Gin and Eggs
Today Cornish poultry farmer Rebecca Tonks hopes to attract attention to her new egg products at the Speciality And Fine Food Fair at the London Olympia, while Northampton-based Tom and Tina Warner aim to impress potential buyers with their selection of farm-produced gins.

Shire Horses
Today 23 year-old horse breeder Molly from Kent and Surrey-based friends Jackie and Paul have winning on their minds, as they enter their beloved shire horses in the Heavy Horse competition at the famous Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show.

Against the Odds
Today five groups of dedicated farmers from across the country go up against each other as they try and win this year's Against The Odds category at The British Farming Awards.

Sheep
Sheep farmers Neil and Rhian from the Brecon Beacons and Crymych-based shepherds Mandy and Derek hope to beat the competition with their pedigree breed sheep at the Pembrokeshire County Show.

Farm Worker of the Year
Today three influential farm workers, all essential to the success of their farms, go up against each other.
They are all hoping to be named Farm Worker Of The Year at the prestigious Farmers Weekly Awards.

Flowers
Today flower farmer Natalie Davies from Worcester and arable farmer Cate Morris from Gloucestershire will use flowers from their farms to create stunning floral displays to impress the judges, as they compete at the Malvern Autumn Show.

Venison and Beer
Today two very different farm producers attend the annual Farnham Food Festival to sell their products to the public.
Gamekeeper and butcher Jack is promoting his wild venison, while craft brewer Robert is selling his traditional English ales.

Dexter Cattle Auction
Cattle farmers Kim from Somerset and husband-wife team Geoff and Beverley head to Sedgemoor Auction, one of the largest livestock markets in the country, to sell a selection of their finest Dexter cattle.
But will they meet the reserve and get the prices they need?

Gransden Pigs
Series in which farming families attempt to win prizes by demonstrating specialist farming skills. Pedigree pig farmers David and Linda from Essex and Hayley Lake from Norfolk have their eyes on the prize when they enter the show ring at the Gransden Show in Cambridgeshire.

Ploughing
Farmers and traditional horsemen Paul from Bedfordshire and John from Hampshire show the skill and passion needed to do well in one of the country's top ploughing competitions.

Agricultural Student of the Year
Five young farmers battle it out at the British Farming Awards, all hoping to become Agricultural Student of the Year.

Apples and Pears
Two fruit-growing 'apple entrepreneurs' compete at the Malvern Autumn Show. Both want to give their exceptional fruit and farm-produced juices a real boost, and winning a rosette could mean selling out on their stalls.

Salt and Crisps
At the Speciality and Fine Food Fair in London, potato farmer Anthony Froggatt hopes to attract interest in his premium crisp products made on his farm in Staffordshire. Meanwhile, 'farmers of the sea' Alison and David Lea-Wilson promote their salt, harvested from their idyllic coastal spot in Anglesey, Wales.

Today three inspirational farming families with real ingenuity and determination are up against each other for this year's Diversification Of The Year Award at The Farmers Weekly Awards.
