This week, Paul Martin is in the West Midlands, where he takes on local auctioneering expert Rachel Holland. Rachel is a specialist of Asian art and has extensive knowledge of her home patch: the heart of British manufacturing. In their first challenge, locals from all over the West Midlands bring their antiques and collectibles to an open valuation day, but only the best items will be put under the hammer. Will either auctioneer be tempted by the retro style of an 80s omnichord player, or will they go for classic collectibles like an impressive stamp collection. As they head into the second round, they find themselves against the clock, as they race around Halfpenny Antique and Vintage Centre in search of hidden treasures that could make them a profit in the sale room. The third challenge gives both rivals the chance to bag a big money star lot which could transform their fortunes. Who will have the closest answer to the question in the golden envelope and have the chance to pick first? It's all to play for as the final auction takes place but who will take the crown as the day's winner?
Episode 2
Paul Martin's in The Black Country and he's taking on one of the West Midlands most prolific antique experts: Rachel Holland. Ready for battle, Rachel is hoping her local knowledge will shine through and she will earn local respect winning the crown and the bragging rights. In the first challenge, the Accept or Reject round, locals from all over the region bring their antiques and valuables to a valuation day, but only the best items will be put under the hammer. Will either auctioneer be tempted with a Cliff Richard gold disc, a model car collection, or a miniature apprentice chest? In the second round, Paul and Rachel find themselves against the clock as they race around the Old Mill Antique Centre in Bridgnorth in search of hidden treasures that could make them a profit in the sale room. The third challenge is the Jackpot dual round which gives both rivals the chance to bag a big money star lot which could change everything. What surprises await them, hidden in the back of the vans, and who will get to choose first? It's all to play for as the final auction takes place but who will take the crown as the day's winner?

It's the third Auction Showdown of the week, as Paul Martin goes head-to-head with all-round antiques ace, Rachel Holland, in a midweek duel in Stourbridge. Their first challenge sees them in Stourbridge Town Hall, offering valuations to locals and snapping up the pieces they reckon will make a profit in the sale room. Will the auctioneers Accept or Reject an early 20th century stained glass window, or a copper-topped tavern table? The second round sees the rivals up against the clock to each find an item they can Flip for Profit at auction, combing the Old Mill Antiques Centre for treasures. In their third challenge, Paul and Rachel have the opportunity to nab a high-value lot to put under the hammer in their Jackpot Duel. Faced with the choice between a 19th century apothecary cabinet and a plush chaise longue, the auctioneers must use their sale room savvy to select the piece they think will get the bidders most excited. It's all to play for in this week's Auction Showdown - but who will come out on top today in the West Midlands?

Collector, dealer and auctioneer Paul Martin has been in the antiques business for 25 years. Now he's travelling across the country to pit his auctioneering skills against his biggest rivals in the ultimate battle of the gavels. This week, Paul Martin is in the West Midlands as he takes on antiques ace Rachel Holland. Rachel has her gavel at the ready to do battle at the rostrum once more. In their first challenge, locals bring their antiques and collectibles to a valuation day at Stourbridge Town Hall, but only the best items will be put under the hammer. Will either auctioneer be tempted with a pair of locally-blown wine goblets, a Basil Brush lamp base or an Edward VIII banner for the coronation that never was? As they head into the second round, they find themselves against the clock, as they race around Halfpenny Antiques & Vintage Centre in search of hidden treasures that could make them a profit in the saleroom. The third challenge gives both rivals the chance to bag a big money star lot which could transform their fortunes - this time a late 19th century Italian marble specimen table and an Art Nouveau mahogany dresser are up for grabs. Can Rachel win the day at the end of show auction and take it to decider?
Episode 5
All this week Paul Martin has been searching for treasures in the West Midlands, in the historic industrial heartland of the Black Country. With two wins each, he and rival Rachel Holland have it all to play for today. In their first challenge, locals from all over the West Midlands bring their beloved antiques and collections to the Stourbridge Town Hall to be valued by Paul and Rachel. As it's the final showdown of the week they are on a mission to secure items they are confident will sell well at the auction. Will they choose a Fuller's cylindrical slide rule, some Royal Crown Derby or an unusual silver candle extinguisher? In round two Paul and Rachel put their wheeling and dealing skills to the test when they shop for bargains at the Old Mill Antiques Centre in Bridgnorth. With 30 minutes on the clock and a limited budget, they search for items they hope can sell for profit at auction. For the third challenge they must compete to win a high value item with the potential to be a gamechanger at auction. One question stands between them to get first choice on a vintage rocking horse or an Edwardian baby crib. They both have eyes on the same item but which of them will get their hands on it? In the showdown auction Paul and Rachel polish their gavels and get ready for the final battle of the week. Who will be crowned champion of the West Midlands?

This week, Paul Martin's in and around Lancashire as he takes on one of the North West's most prolific antique experts; Paul Hayes. In their first challenge, locals bring their antiques and collectibles to a valuation hub, but only the best items will be put under the hammer. Will either auctioneer be tempted with a selection of mediaeval coins, a black forest jewellery box, or the Vermeer styled masterpiece? As they head into the second round, they find themselves against the clock, as they race around the Preston Antique Centre in search of hidden treasures that could make them a profit in the sale room. The third challenge gives both rivals the chance to bag a big money star lot which could transform their fortunes. Who will gain the 18th century tall boy and who will end up with a pair of urns, that could be highly desirable? It's all to play for as the final auction takes place, but who will take the crown as the day's winner.
Episode 7
In the North West, Paul Martin and antique expert Paul Hayes try to level the scores. The public bring their own antiques for valuation, where the surprise arrival of a pair of garden clowns gives both Pauls food for thought. One expert sets his sights on a set of uniquely decorative lamps and both rivals have the chance to bag a game-changing star lot. Could a pair of bronze greyhounds help one rival race to the finish line?
Episode 8
This week, Paul takes on Lancashire's antique expert Paul Hayes. With a choice of 1950s record player, never used art nouveau doorhandles, and a silver trinket box, can either of them choose the most valuable? Both Pauls go antiques hunting against the clock, searching for buried treasure to sell for profit at auction. Finally, they each bag a mystery big ticket item that could make or break their chances in the saleroom.
Episode 9
This week, Paul Martin takes on Lancashire lad Paul Hayes. Locals offer up their own collectibles for valuation. A Chinese medicine tablet might be just what the doctor ordered, while the discovery of a woven stevengraph threatens to turn the tables. Both Pauls have the chance to bag a star lot that could turn the odds upside down. A grandfather clock and a roll top desk hold secrets that could push their value up at auction.
Episode 10
In the final visit of the week to the North West, Paul Martin goes head-to-head with Paul Hayes in the deciding battle for the unofficial title: King of the Antiques North. The duo goes back to the 70s with an iconic superhero collection and cast an eye over a special autograph. Faced with the choice between classic and kitsch statues, the pair use their expertise to select the piece they think will get the highest bid.
Episode 11
This week, Paul Martin's in Glasgow, taking on his youngest opponent yet, rising star James Spiridion. Across three rounds, Paul and James must choose the treasures they think will make them the most money at the end of show auction. On valuation day, they compete for a watercolour of a Glasgow tenement, an RAF brooch, a shipyard painting and an arts and crafts planter. Who will pick the most valuable items to take to auction?
Episode 12
In Glasgow, Paul takes on James Spiridion. Does Paul have what it takes to keep up with someone half his age? On valuation day, both compete for a retro coffee machine, some cameo jewellery and some plaster castings of Mary Queen of Scots. In the next round, our rivals go head-to-head around an antique shop as they attempt to find items to flip for profit at the end of show auction. But with restricted browsing time and a limited budget, will they find what they need to make a splash in the sale room?
Episode 13
It's midweek in Glasgow and Paul Martin's up against antiques whizz-kid James Spiridion. Faced with the choice between a Charles Rennie Mackintosh-inspired doll's house and a statement piece wooden bird cage, the auctioneers must use their saleroom savvy to select the piece they think has the better chance of making a mint. On valuation day, will the auctioneers accept or reject an art deco diamond ring, or pair of signed souvenir rugby balls? It's all to play for - but who will come out on top today?

Locals bring their own antiques for valuation as rivals Paul and James Spiridion compete for a pocket barometer, Royal Copenhagen tableware and a wooden chess set carved by a WWII POW. The duo fight it out for a pair of star lots that could turn their fortunes around. Today they go head to head for a standing lamp and a Victorian Altar piece. But which will light the way for them in the saleroom?

Paul Martin is in Scotland and his challenger is Glasgow-based James Spiridion. Will James's local knowledge give him the edge? On valuation day, our rivals must choose between a collection of Japanese block paintings, a collection of vintage watches and a Hermes silk scarf. With everything to play for, this week's winner will be decided at today's auction. Who will be awarded the unofficial title of ‘Antiques King of Scotland'?

It's a brand new week and Paul Martin's in Oxfordshire to take on the straight-talking Tom Keane for this week's Auction Showdown. Their first challenge sees them in Oxford Town Hall, offering up valuations to locals and snapping up the pieces they reckon will make a profit in the saleroom. Will the auctioneers Accept or Reject a pristine 19th century perfume bottle, or a wax bust of Napoleon Bonaparte? The second round sees the rivals up against the clock to each find an item they can Flip for Profit at auction, combing the Village Antiques Market for treasures. In their third challenge, Paul and Tom have the opportunity to nab a high-value lot to put under the hammer in their Jackpot Duel. Faced with the choice between a set of elegant Georgian-style armchairs and a plush Victorian settee, the auctioneers must use their saleroom savvy to select the piece they think will get the bidders most excited.
