The Large Family (2007-2010)
The Large Family is based on Jill Murphy's best-selling picture books about a warm-hearted family of elephants. Each episode follows the everyday (and often not so everyday) happenings of family life with Mum, Dad and their four children: Lester, Laura, Luke and baby Lucy. They go to school, play with friends, make trips to the supermarket, go to work, start new hobbies and long for the summer holidays - just like humans.
Elephants they may be, but in every other way the Large Family are just like us. They have big dreams, huge hopes and enormous piles of laundry! Their problems may seem gigantic at first, but they usually turn out to be tiny. And of course, they occasionally make some massive mistakes...
