But two previous tragedies in the exclusive neighborhood cause him to wonder if all had a connection.

A desperate and bewildered unemployed dancer's attempted suicide leads the elite Metropolitan Squad to expose a money-hungry, phoney doctor in "Blood Money" on "The New Breed" ‘Tuesday, Dec. 19 (ABC-TV, 8:30- 9:30 p.m., CDT).
Gloria Grahame and Diana Millay guest star. Leslie Nielsen stars as Lt. Price Adams.
Connie Weems accidentally shoots her roommate, Sandy Demarest, while attempting suicide after learning from Dr. Cameron Hill she is suffering from an incurable disease. Her boyfriend, cowboy actor Tad Calloway, refuses to believe Connie's story, but during interrogation with Met Squad Lt. Price Adams, supplies the lead that places Dr. Hill as the police prey.
Adams assigns Vince Cavelli to an undercover detail but to no avail. But the doctor's nurse, Nora Springer, has a guilt-ridden conscience.
