It's the show we've been waiting a decade to see! For the first time in Strictly Come Dancing's history, members of the public are being invited through the sparkly ballroom doors. Tess and Claudia open this series which sees six extraordinary superfans launched into the world of Strictly and living the dream for the millions of fans who've longed to cha-cha their way into the show.
Past Strictly stars and pro dancers embark on the ultimate feel-good mission: to surprise the unsuspecting heroes in everyday situations. For one of the nominees, supermarket shopping will never be the same again! Once paired with a Strictly pro dancer, they embark on a journey into the fabulous world of ballroom and latin dance, visiting places like Vienna and Madrid to really understand the flavour of their routine. Prepare to laugh and cry as everyday life is put aside and the new stars of Strictly start the adventure of a lifetime.

Episode 2
The ultimate feel-good show continues as three more extraordinary and deserving Strictly superfans have their everyday lives interrupted by a host of famous faces bearing the sparkling news that they have been chosen to become the new stars of their favourite show.
Launched into the dazzling world of ballroom and latin dance, they are paired up with their very own professional dancers and immerse themselves in all things Strictly, visiting places like the World Ballroom Championships in Blackpool to really get under the skin of their dances.

Episode 3
Sequins, spray tans and backstage passes lie in wait for Strictly's real people as they move ever-closer to their turn on the ballroom floor.
In this episode, they reveal some of their routines to scary judge Craig Revel Horwood at Wembley and get tips and guidance from past Strictly celebrities. Under the watchful eye of Abbey Clancy, the new stars run amok in the treasure trove that is the Strictly wardrobe, hair and make-up department as the makeover of a lifetime begins.
Some of the competitors discover that Latin and ballroom dance training is much harder than it looks on the telly!

Episode 4
The contestants have received the surprise of their lives, trained with a pro dancer, been sparkled, spray-tanned and sequinned, and the moment has arrived. For the first time in Strictly's history, six real-life heroes are taking to the famous ballroom floor.
Judges Len, Darcey, Bruno and special guest Anton du Beke critique the moves and Tess and Claudia host as the People's Strictly stars live the money-can't-buy experience that millions of people would love.
Tonight it's all about that one dance and it's viewer votes alone that will crown the first ever champion of The People's Strictly for Comic Relief.

Amandaland
Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).
With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
