Janet's student nephew conducts a psychological study in the office. However academia takes a backseat when the peace of the smoking room is threatened by an angry bee.

No Place Like Home
Sharon is forced to spend a very uncomfortable half hour in the company of her staff when a heavy snowstorm traps the employees in the smoking room after office hours.

1987
Robin discovers photographs from the 1987 company brochure. Sharon remembers starting as Barry's secretary and the smokers think back on unfulfilled ambitions.

Smashed
Someone has broken in and vandalised the room, and the smokers all have their suspicions. Robin turns up with a black eye. Sally and Annie hatch a plan.

Pity the Fool
Despite Sharon's protests, Head Office instructs the company to mark April Fool's Day with suitable practical jokes, in order to boost staff morale.

Quitters
A mandatory anti-smoking seminar has been arranged, mainly because Sharon wants to cut down on breaks. However the seminar leaves everyone in dire need of a cigarette.

Last Night a Graphic Designer Saved My Life
Sally saves an old lady from a mugger, to varied reactions from her fellow smokers. But then something happens which really calls upon her heroic qualities.

Significant Others
The smokers are delighted when Janet's new boyfriend proposes to her - and she celebrates by treating them to champange. Only Robin tries to warn her off.
