The Trip is an annual event that has aired on the Travel Channel since 2014. Viewers submit up to two entries per day on line at travelchannel.com every year when the contest for that year officially begins. A winner is chosen at random to receive an all expenses paid trip to a certain destination which includes round-trip air fare, hotel accommodations, meals and spending money. The 2017 contest begins on 21 February and concludes on 14 March and the winner will receive a 16 night dream vacation with luxury lodging throughout Florida and Jamaica, a grand-prize package valued at $100,000.
