In the Lake District, a father and daughter - members of a legendary Cumbrian climbing family - tackle a lofty Cumbrian crag. On Windermere, boat builder Hamish Paterson puts an Edwardian steam vessel through its paces. And in south Lakeland, a massive one-and-a-half-ton shorthorn bull kicks off during preparations for the biggest agricultural show of his year: the National Championships.

In the Lake District, farmer Kevin Holliday is preparing for an auction that could make or break his year. In the Dales, agricultural show fanatic Mandy Banks chases the prize she covets most - the best Victoria sandwich.
