World Cup Heroes
John Toshack takes over as Wales manager and inherits a team mutinous at his appointment, with senior players jumping ship to avoid playing for him. Football in Wales is at a low-point, starved of success and riven with arguments and rivalries. With few options left, Toshack makes the crucial decision to rebuild from the bottom up and start again by recruiting a brand new team of young emerging talent. They struggle, and Toshack and his team take plenty the flak, but eighteen years and four managers later, four of the players he blooded - Bale, Ramsey, Allen, and Hennessey - would help propel Wales to their first World Cup in 64 years.

Gary Speed's death shocks the footballing world, plunging Welsh football into its darkest hour. As a nation struggles to come to terms with the tragic events, new manager Chris Coleman finds the strength to take Wales to new highs, securing an historic place in their first finals of a major tournament for 58 years – Euro 2016.

When Euro 2016 hero Chris Coleman quits, Wales turn to Ryan Giggs, one of the greatest talents in the game but a player who never bonded with the Welsh fans. In his quest to make the nation a serial achiever at international tournaments, Giggs risks everything, changing the side that has already achieved so much.
When the gamble pays off the fans finally accept the manager and celebrate a second qualification for Euro 2020. The celebrations soon turn sour as the manager becomes engulfed in controversy, leaving assistant Robert Page at the helm at this critical time.
Rhondda-born Page rises to the challenge and within two years has achieved the impossible – world cup qualification for the first time since 1958.
