In a week of episodes from Essex, Carol is having a posh tea party for a group of ladies who lunch. Serving up the grub are stressy cook Khaleesha and her husband Perry, presentation-obsessed Tania and Steve, and fun-loving Jane and Danny. But, after mistimings with the oven, mistakes with forgotten ingredients and misgivings over bizarre dishes, afternoon tea ends up in tears before bedtime.
Episode 2
Day two of the competition in which three pairs of amateur cooks compete to provide perfect party food and win a big cash prize. Drama teacher Victoria is having a wrap party for her school production of Sweeney Todd. But there's a meltdown in the kitchen when equipment failure proves too much for cooks Khaleesha and her husband Perry. And guests go hungry when Tania and Steve get their numbers horribly wrong.
Episode 3
Three couples are trying to serve the best party grub and win a big cash prize. DJ Tony is having a bash for the fifth anniversary of his radio show. He wants retro-themed refreshments with a seventies sparkle and he's not disappointed. Cooks Jane and Danny go all out with outrageous presentation, and bickering in the kitchen threatens Perry and Khaleesha's challenge.

Solicitor Charlotte is celebrating her 40th birthday party at a vineyard and wants to impress her guests with fancy food. Wine buffs Tania and Steve are convinced they have an advantage over the other cooks; but Jane has to rethink her dessert after hubby Danny buys the wrong ingredient.
Episode 5
It's the final day of the competition - so which of the three couples will walk off with this week's cash prize? In this episode, the task is to cater for Tristan and Duncan's engagement party. Steve and Tania hope their spectacular presentation will impress, Khaleesha and Perry take a gamble with exotic dishes while Jane and Danny hope a little white lie might see them bag the cash.
Episode 6
Three keen amateur cooking couples compete to lay on the best food for a series of parties and win a big cash prize. It's the first day of the competition and French food-loving Bob is planning a house warming party. Doing the catering are confident students Jamie and Kathy, laid back cooks Alan and Allison and competitive Charlie and Janie. There are first day nerves with underdone dishes and overcooked grub and the straight-talking guests don't hold back with their verdicts on the food.
Episode 7
On day two of the competition, fitness coach Tiffany is celebrating the third anniversary of her fitness studio opening with a jungle-themed party. The cooks struggle with the host's healthy, low-fat brief. Charlie and Janie's home-baked bread threatens to be their undoing. And there are some unexpectedly sweet successes.
Episode 8
Day three and Sangeeta is planning her annual Murder Mystery event at a manor house and wants the competitive cooks to lay on all of the food. Killer dishes get served up, there are lamb wars when all three couples cook with the same ingredient, and is Charlie indulging in a spot of foul play when a cold pudding gets put in a hot oven?

We're on day four of the competition and hairdresser Lesley swaps the salon for the saloon as she arranges an anniversary celebration for her husband. But there's a showdown between the competitive cooks when Charlie and Janie's homemade dishes go up against Kathy and Jamie's shop ingredients. And Alan and Allison fight to prove they're still in with a chance of winning.
Episode 10
It's the final day of the competitive party-catering competition, so which couple will walk away with the big cash prize? Restaurateur George and wife Vas hand their kitchen over to the cooks for their Big Greek Wedding Anniversary Party. The cooks have to serve restaurant quality Greek grub. Charlie forgets a key ingredient, Alan forgets to take his food out of the oven and Jamie forgets how much work he's left himself to do at the party. Will they lose their cool before the big winners are announced?
Episode 11

It's the first day of the competition and Sharon's throwing a 1980s themed party to celebrate her 50th birthday. Providing the catering are perfectionists John and Carolyn, spice lovers Rav and Janita and confident Rob and Ana. There's a crisis of confidence when two couples choose to serve the duck a l'orange, and slapdash presentation gets a slating from the opinionated guests.

Day two of the competition in which three pairs of amateur cooks compete to provide perfect party food and win a big cash prize. Children's entertainers Dan and Emily are going travelling and are throwing a farewell party with a South East Asian theme. John and Carolyn take a big gamble when they serve fish to a fish-phobic host, and Rav and Janita struggle with a wobbly main course and a lumpy dessert.
Episode 13
Three couples vie to serve the best party grub and win a big cash prize. Former air hostess Amanda is having a Caribbean themed reunion party for former colleagues, but when cocktails are served soon after take-off, there are kitchen cock-ups and the competitive cooks' ambitious dishes don't quite go to plan. Carolyn and Ana both experience dessert malfunctions and Rav tackles Tilapia for the very first time.
Episode 14
Day four of the competition in which three pairs of amateur cooking couples compete to provide perfect party food and win a big cash prize. Working Men's Club secretary Matthew is throwing a party for club members to celebrate the club's reopening. The cooking couples are under the cosh trying to serve no-nonsense grub to a tough crowd. There are meltdowns in the kitchen as Rav and Janita fail to agree on how to serve their show-stopping dish, and Rob hopes his special chips will get him back in Ana's good books.
Episode 15
It's the final day of the competitive party-catering competition - which couple will walk away with the big cash prize? Vocal coach Elva sets the cooks their biggest challenge yet when she throws a 'thank you' party for her foodie students. There's a pair of pears when Carolyn and Janita chose the same dish, and it gets very hot in the kitchen when perfectionist John feels the pressure, before Elva announces the winners of the week.

The first host of this week in Birmingham is entrepreneur Nick who is celebrating his honorary degree. Determined husband and wife Jim and Muriel, presentation-obsessed Karren and Adrian, and devoted foodies Chris and Alice need to serve first class Thai cuisine. But early confidence dissolves when they realise catering for a party full of connoisseurs is different to home cooking.
Episode 17
Day two of the competition. After two years of illness, trained chef Sharron is on the mend. To celebrate, she's throwing a party for family and friends. But the competing cooks are challenged by the strictly dairy, wheat and gluten-free brief. Jim and Muriel gamble with unusual dishes and ingredients and there's an alarming moment for Chris and Alice when things get hot and smoky in the kitchen.
Episode 18
In the third episode of the week's competition, Sally and Ian are celebrating their third wedding anniversary with a Mexican inspired party. The cooks must serve up food that fits the theme but, under pressure, both Jim and Karren end up burning things and time runs away yet again for Chris and Alice.
Episode 19
In the fourth episode of the week, teacher Siobhan is throwing a party for her colleagues to mark the start of a new term. It's a tough brief - the competing cooks must serve school dinners inspired dishes with a modern twist. The oven gloves are off as Alice and Karren go head to head with their mum's pudding recipes.
Episode 20
It's the final day of the competition - so which of three couples will walk off with this week's cash prize? Les and Julie are celebrating their return home from the Far East and want hearty British dishes from the cooks. Jim and Muriel are determined to impress with unusual flavour combinations and stressy Alice has put Chris in charge for the day. There's lots of flapping, plenty of panic and frank feedback before the winners of the week are revealed.
