Episode 1
Accomplished chef Gemma and her paramedic boyfriend Kieran live together in west London above Gemma's cafe. Kieran and Gemma are madly in love. But, unfortunately, love alone can't pay cafe suppliers or London rent. The pair are barely making ends meet, and their different shift patterns mean they are like ships in the night.

Episode 2
Everyone is confused after their shared moment the night before. At work, Gemma gets a visit from her dad, Ray has a panic attack, and something goes wrong on Kieran's shift.

Episode 3
Gemma and Kieran set a date for their wedding and our trio find a rhythm of living together and making each other's lives better. Ray helps Kieran in his physical recovery and he inspires her to get back in the water. Meanwhile, Gemma finds that two hands are better than one when Ray helps out in an increasingly busy Ampersand Café. The trio have never been happier together. But as Kieran and Gemma's wedding draws closer, Ray begins to wonder where she fits in.

Episode 4
It's the day of Gemma and Kieran's wedding, but they're still reeling from Ray's heartfelt declaration the night before. Kieran lashes out as he struggles to come to terms with his feelings. Ray tries in vain to be invisible, but Gemma's friends recruit her in dressing the bride. However bad the timing is, both Gemma and Kieran are drawn to Ray. Following a beautiful ceremony filled with love, family and friends, the trio find themselves on the cusp of an unthinkable decision, and an uncertain future - but will Ray stay, or go?

Episode 5
The day after the wedding. Gemma and Kieran miss their cab to the airport, but Ray drives them so that the couple don't miss their flight to go on honeymoon. Dejected and confused, Ray reconnects with Moi, with calamitous consequences. In Finland, Kieran and Gemma can't stop thinking about what they've left behind and what this means for them as husband and wife. In London, Ray starts a new job and thrives on being part of a team again, but would she have space in her new life for a returning Gemma and Kieran?

Episode 6
Ray's mum, Mathilde, visits London for Ray's birthday. It's been a year since Ray left home and Mathilde tries to navigate the distance growing between her and her only child. Over a tense birthday dinner, Mathilde observes a new dynamic between Ray and her landlords.

Episode 7
The café is under threat and Ray thinks she has the solution, but Gemma and Kieran aren't sure. The triad come out to their friends and family, sparking some surprising reactions.

Episode 8
The triad have never been happier, but a family tragedy throws everything up in the air. Gemma faces a possibility that she never dreamed of, and Ray makes a decision.
