Shona finds out about its origins and those who began the movement, as well as those who revived it as an art form and as a craft. She also meets the silversmiths who work in this style today, and explores what the future holds for this beautiful art form. Shona visits the auction rooms of Glasgow, and heads to Iona, Orkney and Uist on her trip to get to the heart of its appeal.

Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
