A young man, Daniele, spends a week in a psychiatric ward, where he meets five other patients and must contend with research-happy doctors and cynical nurses.

Daniele does not like his new roommates. He begins to remember what put him there and becomes obsessed with a woman in a different wing.

Daniele learns more about his roommates — the good and the bad — but he is still brooding about Nina. An unexpected visit raises his spirits.

A fire erupts in the ward, forcing everyone outside. Daniele and Nina have a conversation, and Daniele starts to warm up to his odd but sweet roommates.
Giovedì
The roommates get a treat from outside the hospital. Daniele and Nina make some slightly naughty plans, and for a brief moment, everything's normal.
Venerdì
Daniele gets rebuked for the previous night's escapade with Nina, but he doesn't care. He's learning to love life in the ward. Then, a tragic accident.
Sabato
One by one, Daniele's roommates leave. He prepares to go back out into the world and realizes this might have been the sanest week of his life.

Saint-Pierre
After Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny "Fitz" Fitzpatrick digs too deeply into a local politician's nefarious activity, he is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (the French Territory nestled in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Newfoundland). Although the islands seem like a quaint tourist destination, the idyllic façade conceals the worst kind of criminal activity which tend to wash up on its beautiful shores. At first at odds and suspicious of each other, Arch and Fitz soon discover that they are better together... a veritable crime-fighting force.
The Conners
