Gaby (Constance Marie) asks Michael to write her a monologue for a big audition, which leads to doubts about their respective talents; Jack gets involved with his parole officer's daughter; Suzanne interviews divorce lawyers.

Enjoy Your Haddock
Gaby (Constance Marie) threatens to move out of Michael's apartment after a squabble; Suzanne's ex-husband violates the terms of their divorce agreement, so she tries to get him where it hurts the most---his Knicks tickets.

A Stool with a View
Gaby (Constance Marie) and Jack (Jim Pirri) are cast in a student film and must execute a passionate kiss; Suzanne tries changing her last name.

Michael's First Stand
Halloween at the diner finds Michael (Michael Landes) trying to prove he can be shallow when it comes to his sex life, and Gaby wanting to be open-minded about a guy she meets who fancies women's clothes.

Rhea Perlman guest stars as a bookie's widow looking to collect a debt from Jack (Jim Pirri); Gaby is sexually harassed at her temp job and Michael wants her to sue.

Jack introduces budding filmmaker Russell (David Krumholtz) to his prison buddy's girlfriend; Albie thinks Gaby is after his job.

Jack takes money from the tip jar and bets it on a horse; Suzanne gives Santa Claus (Robert Morse) a pep talk before the Thanksgiving parade.

Jack tries hard to make it up to a woman (Paula Cale) whose car he once stole; Carrie tries to be nicer to her customers. Lea Thompson ("Caroline in the City") guest stars.
