The uneven distribution of land is felt hardest by the country's working poor, and despite its natural riches, over a quarter of Brazil's households are considered food insecure. In a nation with a history of land disputes turning deadly, reporter Symeon Brown tracks down communist activists who are taking land from the rich to give to the poor as well as a landowner and founding member of a movement intent on defending private property.
