Početak treće epizode tv serije "Vratiće se rode" poklapa se sa početkom dana u selu Baranda. Svi se bude sem Švabe i Eksera koji spavaju u automobilu zaglavljenom u bari čija voda doseže do vrata. Sima, vlasnik kaljuge u kojoj su se zaglavili, traži im 20 evra da ih izvuče. Švabina temperamentna reakcija iznervira Simu, te Ekser i Švaba moraju da se sasvim izblatnjave ne bi li došli do suvog terena. Sasvim blatnjavi pronalaze Tozinu kuću u kojoj živi tetka Ruža (Mira Banjac). Presvukavši se sa njom odlaze na groblje i upoznaju Milenka (Branimir Brstina) koji je kao i Ruža siguran da Švaba neodoljivo liči na Tozu. Opsednut životom roda, Milenko sa Ekserom odlazi do Simine kaljuge ne bi li izvukli automobil. Usput Milenko upoznaje Eksera sa geografijom i stanovnicima sela. U Beogradu, Dule Pacov, ima problema jer se umešao u trgovinu drogom, što on negira. Ekser daje novac Simi koji će, čim se odmori, izvući automobil iz blata.
