Episode 1
When the old collides with the new, a perfect storm strikes the school.
A community football match gets underway, and as Dwayne clashes with a new pupil whose arrival causes fireworks, he continues to rebel - finding himself trapped in a dangerous situation. Faced with the realities of fatherhood, Joe and Mike begin to question their future.
Elsewhere, Kai struggles with his feelings for Preston, and Danny makes a bold move as his future hangs in the balance. Kim has an uphill battle on her hands, and as she tries to introduce a new initiative to the school, she's rocked by a blast from the past.
Episode 2
Kelly Jo's ready for a big day at school, but when her mum Debs fails to show up to support her, she relies on Nicky for comfort and confides in her. Nicky is left with a moral dilemma, which sets the cat amongst the pigeons for the Rafferty family.
Amy finds herself developing a crush on a colleague, and after Neil lends some unsolicited advice, she decides to make a bold move. But has she got the wrong end of the stick?
Kim's day gets off to a bumpy start as her and Lindon's conversation is overheard, before a brutal meeting with the dissatisfied governors leaves her relieved to find solace in an old friend.
Episode 3
Following an awkward encounter, Amy comes face to face with her crush as she's forced to work with them at the poetry slam. After a technical faux pas causes their conversation to be heard, putting Amy on blast, she's left feeling humiliated. Another student gets a nasty shock.
Desperate to keep the poetry slam on track, Donte and Preston join forces, but an unexpected spanner in the works puts the event in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Preston and Kai decide to take their relationship to the next level and give the school something to talk about. Will Preston finally confide in someone about his secret?

After a disastrous start to her day, Shola's finds herself overwhelmed, and her strange behaviour causes a panic, leaving the teachers to suspect that she's hiding something from them. After a home visit, Shola's conduct begins to make sense for a worried Val.
Kelly Jo's first day out of the BU doesn't get off to the best of starts when a kind-hearted gesture from Dean spectacularly backfires. Elsewhere, a wily Myles causes a fresh set of challenges for Joe, who's already reeling from seeing an unexpected visitor, leaving him and Mike feeling uncertain about their future.
Episode 5
An unexpected call throws Kim into a spin, and she's forced to rally the troops. Joe finds his day goes from bad to worse, with the whole school watching.
Danny tries to rectify his past actions and visits Waterloo Road to play an integral part in the school's knife crime initiative. Meanwhile, Kai comes to Nicky's aid as she finds herself caught up with the wrong people. Preston's secret continues to weigh heavily on him.
Episode 6
After trying to keep her problems at bay, Nicky's desperation reaches new heights, and she's forced to consider the unthinkable. Danny finds himself accidentally involved and forced to confront a ghost from his past in a bid to help.
Meanwhile, the school organises a fundraising run for Chlo's Wishing Foundation, much to Donte's delight. But when Preston and Myles compete against each other, there's devastating consequences for one of them, leaving the other facing questions from the rest of the pupils.
Episode 7
Waterloo Road launches their new school radio, and Danny uses the launch to try to make amends for past mistakes, leaving Myles burning with fury. As Myles's actions begin to catch up with him, he's alienated by his peers and vows to get his revenge, causing the school to be rocked by an event with deadly consequences.
Joe and Mike come to a decision regarding Dwayne and Zayne, and as Nicky battles with guilt, she butts heads with Kai, while Preston is forced to confront his demons.
