In the opening episode, theatre-lovers Lynn and Roger plan to get hitched but encounter some serious costume drama. Local entrepreneur Jackie plans to shake up Gretna Green's wedding scene by bringing a bit of Vegas magic to town, and fantasy fanatics Sam and Simon are hoping to pull off the wedding of their dreams: inspired by popular characters from Game of Thrones, their nuptials will be a cosplay ceremony to remember.

In the second episode, church-goers Jamie and Leon have held off from consummating their marriage until the big day, and also tying the knot are cycle fanatics Anna and Lee. Things take a wrong turn on their wedding day when they get lost on their tandem bike en route to the ceremony. Meanwhile, local businesswoman Jackie is still searching for her first ever Elvis-themed wedding booking.

Tying the knot in this episode of wedding town are long-term lovers Rick and Maureen who are re-tracing the steps of their first marriage in Gretna Green all the way back in 1965. Also hoping for a stress-free wedding are Rebecca and her magician partner Ryan, whose relationship has caused some concern in his traditional Jewish family. Local entrepreneur Jackie continues her quest to bring some Vegas showbiz to Gretna Green, and 'Faster Pastor' Sandy auditions for the role of Elvis.

Getting hitched in this episode are Karen and Ray, childhood sweethearts who first met over 35 years ago. After both marrying then separating from other people, they are finally tying the knot. Wolverhampton couple Jamie and Paula are hoping that after two failed wedding attempts it'll be third time lucky for them in Gretna Green, and businesswoman Jackie finally secures her first ever Elvis wedding booking.

Marrying in this episode are Simon and Kathryn, who have booked Gretna Green's first ever Elvis wedding. But sceptical Simon has some 'King'-related concerns. Franco and Janette have flown all the way from Australia to marry in front of her friends and family, but Italian stallion Franco must first get to grips with his ceremonial kilt.

Wedding Town follows the brides and grooms who have chosen to marry or renew their vows in Gretna Green. Tying the knot in this episode are Sam and her laid-back fiancé Ziggy. Green-fingered couple Derek and Nicole are looking forward to their garden-themed nuptials. But when the wedding cake doesn't deliver in time, drastic action is needed. And hotel manager Gillian desperately tries to think of new ideas to drum up business.

This episode's weddings include Mick and Glenda who met on a dating website two years ago, and Jayne and Martin who tie the knot in an elaborate medieval-themed celebration complete with jugglers, jesters and fire-eaters.
Episode 8
Wedding Town follows the brides and grooms who have chosen to marry or renew their vows in Gretna Green. It's a wedding-come-leaving do for Craig and Becky as their romantic nuptials are also the last chance to see their families before emigrating to Australia. And things take a turn for the worse for Head Chef Glyn at the Gables Hotel as he struggles with his centrepiece wedding cake.

In this episode John and Chanelle host a wedding for 80 and this perfectionist bride has made all the decorations herself... but will events live up to her high standards? Ann and Bob from Hartlepool are making the journey to Scotland to wed, but Ann has a last minute dress disaster. And hotel manager Gillian pulls out all the stops for the wedding event of the year.
Episode 10
Wedding Town follows the brides and grooms who have chosen to marry or renew their vows in Gretna Green. Getting hitched in this edition are Rachel and Neil, whose wedding preparations were apparently less stressful than ordering a Chinese takeaway. Renewing their vows are ghost-hunter Louise and her sceptical partner Callum, who are hoping for a fresh start. And at the Gables Hotel it's the biggest day of the year as manager Gillian tries to impress potential brides and grooms with a special event which includes an anvil-shaped cake.

But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
