A tanker slides off the road near Northampton, a family broken down in thick fog needs rescue, and a pedestrian is hit by a car on a fast and icy road.

Weather Bomb
Storms Eleanor and Doris drive lorries off the road, cut off a Scottish village and put trafficked migrants in danger.

Motorway Mayhem
Traffic officers come to aid of a crashed driver who is stranded and facing the wrong direction on the M6, a specialist crew have their work cut out to free lorries that have got stuck in snow on the A1M, and gritter driver Tam has 50 miles of snow-covered road to clear before the morning rush hour.

Ice Terror
A heavy road recovery team is called out in the middle of the night to an overturned lorry carrying a 25-tonne load of bricks. Andrew and Stevie must work on the hard shoulder, inches from the live lane, putting their lives at risk to help stranded motorists.

Paralysed: Britain's Worst Weather
In the week that Storm Emma hits, the UK's road network is brought to its knees. The heavy road team get to work to help a food delivery truck which is stuck in the snow to a local shop which has run out of food.
