Show Type: Drama First Telecast: October 24, 1990 Last Telecast: March 20, 1991 Hank Zaret was the new news director at TV station WNDY, sent by executives at the network which owned the station to boost its falling ratings. Hank, who had gotten his start there years before, returned to a station in such financial trouble, its staff had nicknamed it WIOU. The main WNDY on-camera news personnel were: anchor Neal Frazier, an overbearing womainzer with an inflated ego and a wandering eye; co-anchor Kelby Robinson, a dedicated journalist who had once been Hank's lover; weatherman Floyd Graham, a lovable veteran who was going blind from glaucoma; Eddie Bock, an ambitious reporter / newsman who had minimal scrupples when it came to furthering his career and reporter Taylor Young, a recent arrival from Tampa with a mind-set identical to Eddie's.
