The Finals - Heat One
The first of five heats features defending champion Brian Shaw among as one of the athletes looking to secure one of two places available in the Grand Final.
The Finals - Heat Two
Heat Two includes a man who has been on the podium five times, yet remains uncrowned. Hailing from the nation that has won 8 of the previous 39 World's Strongest Man titles, Iceland's Hafthor Julius Bjornsson has the weight of history and expectation on his shoulders.
The Finals - Heat Three
Heat Three features an epic field of athletes who will take on six herculean tasks including a 15 tonne Bus Pull, a 350kg Deadlift, and a 200kg Elephant Carry.
The Finals - Heat Four
Eddie Hall, who has won Britain's Strongest Man four times, finished 3rd in this competition last year and he begins his assault on this year's title in this heat. But he will have strong competition, particularly from up-and-coming Mateusz Kieliszkowski from Poland who is just 23 years old, and one of the fastest athletes in the history of this event.
The Finals - Heat Five
Lithuanian Zydrunas Savickas returns to World's Strongest Man after a year away battling injury. He's back leaner than ever, but his ambition remains very much heavyweight. Also battling for one of the two spots available in the final is Britain's Terry Hollands.
The Grand Final
The ten most powerful men in the competition come together to battle it out for this year's title. The action starts with the Tyre Flip in which the athletes have to flip a half-tonne tyre six times, followed by a 320kg Squat Lift, then a Viking Press. After which the athletes have to gear up for a colossal 25-tonne plane pull! The Deadlift will be hotly contested, before mighty Atlas Stones decide the champion.

The Big Fat Quiz
The Big Fat Quiz is an annual British television programme broadcast on the last Sunday of the year on Channel 4. Essentially, the show is a comedy panel show in the style of a pub quiz. Three teams, of two celebrities each, are asked questions relating to the events of the year just gone by, which they write answers to on an electronic board in front of them. At the end of each round, they then display their answers, scoring a point for each correct one. The first edition was broadcast in December 2004. There has been another at the end of each year since, as well as a special edition in November 2007 for Channel 4's 25th anniversary celebrations.
Severance
Mark Scout leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives.
