Episode 1
The proximity to the ocean means that fishing is the most important livelihood. Trond Ludvigsen wanted to be a skipper when he was young, but poor hearing put an end to that. He is a fisherman, but the future is uncertain. Laila Hansen will set up a skreimøljekalas and finds the delicacies where you least expect them to be.
Episode 2
Here, Icelanders Kristin and Kristjon have invented a type of snack, made from fish. They must keep the recipe a secret so that they are not outcompeted by others in the industry. 19-year-old Kristian's big dream is to become a fisherman, and he moves to Sommarøya to get a short distance to the fishing boats.
Episode 3
Laila and her friends are going to organize one of their popular møljekalas for the village's pensioners. They spend the whole day preparing, and the delicacy must not become chewy. Little fish is delivered to Lorentzen's fish farm, suddenly it is almost a black sea for the fishermen.
Episode 4
Ingvard Lorentzen was only 20 years old when he took over the fish farm that has been in the family for four generations. During the scree season, the working days are often so long that he does not make it home, but has to spend the night at the mill. Trond Ludvigsen realizes that he has to leave the fishing profession, because a hearing loss bothers him too much.
Episode 5
Kristian's dream of becoming a fisherman may come to naught. It is difficult to get a job on the fishing boats. Kristin and Kristjon have to leave the house they have rented, and the solution is to buy their own house. But it is far from move-in ready. Laila and her friends must both serve and entertain 100 guests from the Rescue Society.
Episode 6
A party is arranged at the fish farm, despite the fact that fishing has not brought much income this year. The Lorentzen mill is celebrating 120 years, and Ingvard and his partners are beating the big drum. Here you will party and dance in the bright summer night.
