Suspecting a scheme, Batman urges the police not to send The Penguin back to his permanent cell. Unable to reach Ballpoint, The Penguin and his culinary cohorts escape from jail, taking Chief O'Hara along as a hostage.

Attempting to save Chief O'Hara from drowning inside a metal trunk, Batman and Robin find themselves under fire from the Penguin's henchmen. The evil Bird-man and his cronies then visit stately Wayne manor brandishing a giant Butler-pie.

Catwoman then talks Batman into taking her to the Batcave.
