A man with a tattoo of Oulu Kärpät on his arm is found murdered on the Spanish coast. Hilkka Mäntymäi's (Riitta Havukainen) peaceful quality time in Finland is interrupted when Luisa Salinas (Maria Romero), who leads the investigations in Spain, sends Hilka a request for help.

Timo (Bruno Baer), a promising young athlete, receives unpleasant information about his health. At the same time, the smuggling of a young African couple to Spain ends up with questionable people.

The discovery of the water plant makes the team realize that it is a bigger crime ring.

Andres (Fran Perea) follows the lead to Melilla to meet his old acquaintances. Hilkka (Riitta Havukainen) and Luisa (Maria Romero) weave a plot with the help of which they aim to find the main perpetrators of the criminal league. However, new discoveries cause more despair. Neither of them can imagine that Hilkka might also be in danger.
