He also has to take Mr Black, the rockhopper penguin, to surgery for a spot of cosmetic surgery before the mating season begins. And in Wick, a strong-smelling customer is a reluctant visitor to the surgery. The pygmy goat by its very nature has a strong smell and a stubborn character. At Ardene House, equine specialist vet Graham Munroe has the tricky task of performing keyhole surgery on a horse to repair a damaged tendon in its leg.
